Childlike Faith

Sienna and I have a little routine established that makes my heart happy. I pick her up from school on Tues-Thurs (and some Mon & Fri) and we head to wait for Mycah. Because we have a good little wait, I bring her "Sienna" bag filled with her Bible, books, crayons, & snacks. We park in the shade, roll down the windows, she comes and sits up front with me and begins to eat snack. While she eats snack, we read together. She is loving books right now, and I am loving that! :) We pray before we read the Bible together and I had to share her prayer from today. LOVE to hear her honest little prayers.

"Thank you, Lord, for this beautiful day. Thank you for the rain. We needed the rain to water all the flowers. Thank you for the flowers that don't grow in people's yards and for the rain that watered the flowers that we don't know where they are. Thank you for the Bible and for helping us understand the story that we read today. We love you so much. Amen."--Sienna, 5 yrs old

Hope your day is amazing and that you are able to thank God for the blessings all around you today--even the ones you can't see. :)
Silly Sienna for sure!
