Yummy Funness!

(Funness--Urban Dictionary says this describes the most ultimate in any experience which would be described as fun, joyful, blissful, satisfactory, or even pleasurable. The epitome of fun. *I have to say that making and eating these treats does, in fact, qualify as complete yummy funness!)

Sienna's class is studying Christmas traditions around the world and in each family.
Her teachers sent home a note last week asking families to sign up for a day to send in a special treat that is a family tradition during this Christmas season. As we are just building our own family traditions, I decided to send in a treat that has been a tradition of mine that I want to share with our family.

We lovingly call them Reindeer Noses. They are super easy and super yummy. They are the perfect blend of sweet and salty and small enough that you can pop just one or as many as you like.

Wanna try these for your family? Here's how!
Here are (some of) your supplies. You may want to add Hershey Kisses & Hershey Hugs...maybe even get wild and crazy and throw in some dark chocolate or Kisses with almonds. Experiment and have fun!
  • Preheat oven to 200 degrees
  • Lay out a layer of pretzels on a cookie sheet, lined with parchment paper or tin foil.
  • Unwrap your Hershey Kisses or Hugs and place 1 on top of each pretzel.
  • Place cookie sheet in the oven. For Kisses, leave in oven for 5 minutes. For Hugs, leave in oven for 3 minutes--as white chocolate melts much more quickly.
  • Remove treats from the oven and have your M&M's ready! Press 1 M&M into the top of each pretzel/chocolate treat.
  • Allow a few minutes to cool and then can place in the refrigerator to cool and set.
  • Enjoy!!!!
Finished Peppermint Kisses & Hugs. Regular Kisses were in the 'fridge cooling. :) So cute and so tasty!

This year I decided to try some of the Peppermint Kisses. It looks very festive and truly tastes like an Andes mint with a crunch. Yummo!!! I have tried several varieties and have never been disappointed. These are SUPER easy and SUPER good. Eat up! :)
