Not only was it the opening Saturday of college football, which is reason to celebrate all by itself, but there was a special surprise that made this Saturday so much fun. We had a very generous friend who offered us 2 tickets to Clemson's opening game vs Troy. (Background: Now, Scott is a HUGE Clemson fan...and rightfully so, as a Clemson Alumni. I, on the other hand, am a fan of the rival school University of South Carolina. The girls are split...Mycah loving USC & Sienna LOVING Clemson.) Sienna, although a HUGE fan, had never been to a Clemson football game...but all that was about to change! Scott surprised Sienna with the tickets after breakfast on Saturday morning. She was SO excited!
Because of her excitement, it was no problem getting bathed and dressed quickly. To prevent her from asking "is it time to leave now?" every second because she was just so excited, we chose to go ahead and make the chocolate cupcakes and ice them after the game. So Sienna transitioned into Chef Sienna and the baking commenced. Mycah didn't come in on the action until after all was mixed and ready to put in the pan...perfect timing to take some great pictures and, of course, licking the bowl. :)
