Special Delivery!!

Something very exciting happened on Saturday, November 26. Actually, 2 very important things happened that Saturday. One great thing that happened was South Carolina beat Clemson! Woohoo!!! Yes, Mycah & I were very excited--along with almost all of my family. Scott, however, and my mom, was less than thrilled.

But...we received a very special delivery when we arrived back home from visiting Scott's family in GA. It was sitting outside the door and was addressed to Mycah and Sienna! We were so excited...even if we had a hint of what the box held. ;)

Monday night, of this week, was an extra special night...as I have already blogged about. This special delivery made the night extra special as the girls were able to open the gift and really start the funness of the magic of Christmas. (Again, we consistently talk about the true meaning of Christmas and that we are celebrating the birth of Jesus. However, we do like to have a little fun, too.)

Check out the details as you look through the pictures/captions below.

Our freshly bathed little Sienna started tearing into the box...anxious to see what is inside!

Someone is super excited!!!

This is pretty special! :)

Give me that surprise face again! (I missed the best shot of when they actually saw the contents--even though Mycah knew what it was, she was the BEST big sister!)

Sienna looking through the contents while Mycah opens the letters to read to Sienna.

Sienna loves her Elf AND the awesome cookie cutters the magic elf brought her! She knew that Sienna loves to cook.

Elf on the Shelf letter introducing us to Holly Berry, our very own Scout Elf!

So excited!

I may be a little scary, but here is a picture of the love of my life and me. I love this man to pieces!!

Sharing all the details.

Our official adoption certificate!

The girls love their girl Scout Elf, Holly Berry. They were only allowed to touch her Monday night. As soon as they went to sleep, Holly went to the North Pole to tell Santa all about the girls, and the magic Elf dust appeared, if they were to touch her, Holly would lose all her magic. So they truly enjoyed a night of snuggling and touching our beautiful elf.

Our 3 special ladies!

Holly Berry....a little different than typical Elf on the Shelf, but beautiful (and less expensive) nonetheless.

Oh how Mycah loves the camera! :) Love her!

Before we all snuggled on the couch, there had to be some Mario Kart battles. Pretty sure these 2 battled out until the very end!

Thanks for hanging out with us on this blog and for being patient with me as I get back in the swing of things.
Big ole huge praise...I start back work on Sunday! I am so super thankful for the amazing staff at NewSpring Church and the amazing ways they have been the hands and feet of Jesus to our family! I will be working on Preschool Curriculum Development and am super stoked. Thank you for praying for us and for believing with us! We love you!
